Be majoring in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher
Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university
Completed basic programming and/or electronics classes
Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment
Must be a commutable distance to Winston-Salem, NC to work an onsite schedule

A Software Engineer is responsible for the software design and development of the interior aircraft electronic components through all the phases of the project including preliminary design, development, certification and product support
Develop technical requirements for software components
Perform software development and verification of different modules
Develop tools and procedures to aid the development or testing processes
Perform performance profiling activities
Learn troubleshooting skills by analyzing software defects and identifying technical solutions
Analyze CAN, RS485 communication logs and identify potential issues
Preparation and presentation of technical data in design reviews
Ability to work independently and within a multi-functional team environment
Learn electronics product development cycle
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite
This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products
