Responsibilities

Intern - Software Engineers are responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software for existing or new products/applications
The code you create by may be used in commercial, end-user applications and internal tools that improve efficiencies supporting our diverse industry segments and clients
Using current programming languages and technologies, you will write code, perform application testing and debugging, and document and create procedures for installation and maintenance
As an Intern - Software Engineer, you may interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
As you advance in your career, you will become a forward-thinking leader, capable of communicating complex ideas to solve problems faced by users and clients
40 hours/week work dedication during summer and breaks, 20-25/week during the semester
Make improvements to Spring.Boot/Java APIS
Develop tools that support Acxiom's Daas platform
Help senior engineers find new solutions to challenging problems
Manage time, responsibilities, and priorities effectively with emphasis on contribution
Share opinions and ideas openly with teammates
Begin to understand fundamentals of work estimation
Learn about Acxiom's core business and procedures through Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Work in a teaming environment
Create code that is well-formed and adheres to Acxiom guidelines (readability)
Follow code plan provided by more senior staff
Adhere to professional standards of conduct
Establish relationships with Acxiom partners and grow those relationships as your career grows
