Be under general supervision, involved in developing and maintaining programming code for complex information systems
May design, develop and /or maintain programming code for complex information systems
May be responsible for a phase of a complex information system
In this role, you will be responsible for learning and training to develop software for Black & Veatch’s custom design applications under supervision
Learn about software engineering
Assist experienced software engineers
Coding and debugging existing software applications
Collaborate with team members to develop new software
Learn to test software applications and document test results
Learn to review code and document reviews for other engineers
Learn to perform software releases and software quality assurance activities
Learn to perform maintenance activities for products already in the production
