Qualifications

  • Candidates must graduate in or before December 2024 and be available to start in or before January 2025
  • Proficiency in one mainstream programming language, such as GoLang/Go or C++
  • Familiarity with docker, Kubernetes, or public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Knowledge of relational or non-relational databases
  • Understanding of test-driven development and automated testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes
  • Proficiency with modern version control systems, such as Git
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • US Citizenship is required, and candidates must be working on US soil
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field related to software development
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience with a mainstream programming language
  • Experience with software application development, whether through class projects, personal hobbies, or professional roles

  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Pay Range for SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City: \(119,200.00 - \)163,900.00 per year
  • Base Pay Range for California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), DC Metro, and Massachusetts: \(107,280.00 - \)147,510.00 per year
  • Base Pay Range for all other locations: \(95,360.00 - \)131,120.00 per year
  • Incentive compensation and potential equity or long-term cash awards available

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy software to enhance the availability, performance, and reliability of Splunk’s Clustering service, ensuring FedRAMP compliance
  • Establish continuous monitoring and auditing processes for systems compliance
  • Automate service deployment in new provider regions, including FedRAMP environments
  • Design, develop, code, and test software systems for improvements and new products
  • Build innovative solutions for rapid development, addressing aspects like performance, security, and accessibility
  • Contribute to standard methodologies, architecture, and implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, Compliance, Support, and Education
  • Interact with customers to identify issues and solutions
  • Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new interns
  • Engage in 24x7 on-call rotation
