Spanning the course of 10 weeks, from June 3rd - August 9th, this program is available to sophomore-graduate students currently enrolled in a college or university
Qualifications Applicants in their Sophomore, Junior or Senior undergraduate program - including programs in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering or similar - will be considered
Interest in learning IT/software engineering practices and methodologies
Expectation of hands-on, technical work assignments - such as completing user stories, writing unit tests and participating in code reviews

Rising Sophomore to Graduate Students currently enrolled in College or University
Interns must be willing to attend a two-day orientation on Eastern Standard Time

This program will last from 6/3/2024 - 8/9/2024 and will be a full 40 hour-a-week schedule, with some schedule flexibility
Openness to learning development tools - such as software ticketing systems (Atlassian Jira or Rally), technical documentation (such as Swagger API), diagramming tools (Lucid Charts, schema diagramming), code repositories (primarily GitHub Enterprise and Bitbucket)
Responsibilities Intern will work within the Retail team, part of the Product Development (PD) department at TouchNet Information Systems
TouchNet PD consists of approximately 20 scrum teams, developing and supporting software applications for higher education focused payment solutions
Position will learn general software development practices, including Agile methodologies, rituals, scrum and Kanban
Intern will participate in solution design/grooming processes, project estimation, scrum practices and sprint planning/retros/demos within a data product development environment
Intern may be assigned user stories involving the various products owned by the team
Intern will interface with all members of the team to complete tasks and learn collaboratively
