Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or other related fields
3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
Must be eligible to be approved by your college/university to participate in a co-op program and register for co-op credit with your university during work terms
Must be able to complete at least three full-time co-op terms (alternating three terms of full-time work at GTRI with semesters of full-time school) prior to graduation
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance

The program allows you to alternate three semesters of full-time work at GTRI with semesters of full-time school
40 hours per week

Students will assist Research Engineers in various Software Development related tasks
Students should be interested in learning about aircraft sustainment and modernization processes, tools, and datasets, creating updated processes and toolsets, and employing continuous process improvement practices
Perform software development, software debugging, software modification/enhancement, and software documentation
Develop and maintain kernel and user-level software and scripts
Contribute to technical reports and presentations
