What You Will Do:• You will build, integrate, and deploy various software projects ranging from Windows applications to embedded software
You will get exposure to engineering from a systems engineering perspective (big picture)
You will learn and gain practical experience in a hands-on environment
You will work on projects and programs currently in progress at Collins Interior Systems, which allows the intern to apply knowledge that contributes to the overall business
You will have the opportunity to lead your own portion of a project
You will have collaboration opportunity with our international sites and across disciplines
You will be exposed to software lifecycle processes such as code reviews, software documentation and testing/validation.What You Will Learn:• You will gain exposure to global stakeholders and peers at our facilities in Netherlands, India, and the Philippines
You will be introduced to the regulatory and customer compliance in aerospace products
You will take initiative to suggest improvements to product and processes
You will help us advance future product development and innovation of the galley Inserts and chiller product lines
You will learn to improve processes that ensure more robust software
You will learn how to development and maintain software in different development environments
