PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with focus on GenAI, RAG, vector database, and AI Agents
Experience programming in Python, SQL, or related languages
Experience in information retrieval or Text summarization, Experience in NLP (Natural Language Processing), RAG and Large Language Model (LLM)
Experience with training, evaluating, or interpreting large language models or multimodal models
Experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL)

Our team is a blend of data science and analytical engineering, and in this role, you'll collaborate closely with the analytics engineer
As a data scientist, you will work on in-database analytics functions, ensuring high accuracy, efficient workload management, and supporting proof-of-concept (POC) use cases
Meanwhile, you will leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to create solutions and develop scalable models that integrate into Teradata’s analytics platform
This position will play a key role in shaping the future of AI-driven applications, such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), recommendation systems, and multimodal solutions across diverse enterprise use cases
This role reports directly to the manager of the ClearScape Analytics team, the core AI product group
