Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree or graduate degree program at an accredited college/university in a STEM field and must have completed at least 2 years of higher education at the time of the internship (Summer 2025)
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn
  • Knowledge or experience with C, C++, Java, or C#/.NET
  • Prefer understanding of Agile software development
  • Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills
  • Must be able to communicate with others effectively
  • Work well under pressure
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Science, Engineering, and Technology (SET) business unit in the development of autonomy and command and control (C2) software for uncrewed air, ground, and waterborne systems
  • Learns skills related to their degree while also supporting departments across the organization with technical tasks
  • Work is performed under immediate supervision and provides a real-world application of classroom knowledge
  • Experience hands on work experience in support of on-going projects
  • Provide administrative and technical support
  • Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment by managing time and effort across multiple projects
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully
