Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of site reliability principles and methodologies
Familiarity with required technologies such as Linux, CI/CD, DevOps concepts, Java, SQL, Microservices, Kubernetes, Data Analysis, BI, Network protocols
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

You’ll contribute your creativity and outstanding ideas, while working alongside T-Mobile employees
Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour
The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location

As a Software Engineer intern for Site Reliability, you will work closely with a team of experienced engineers and systems architects to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of large-scale, cloud-based applications and infrastructure
Collaborate with team members to design and develop software components focused on creating reliable and scalable systems
Participate in the architecture and design of various infrastructure components
Work on technical assignments that involve detecting issues, automatically handling failures, and preparing disaster recovery plans
Follow established procedures on routine work and seek guidance on new assignments
