Candidate must be enrolled in an Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering program from an ABET accredited school and graduating in one of these majors within the next 3 years (Summer 2027)
Candidate must have a current overall GPA of 3.7+
Candidate should be able to apply academic background to one or more of the following:
Apply engineering principles to create threat simulation model designs
Convert simulation designs into software programs using C++ and other computer languages
Design and develop data analysis tools to aid in data processing, visualization, and analysis
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally and work cohesively in a team environment
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
In addition to the skills mentioned above, other beneficial experience would include:
MATLAB and Simulink
C++, Python, or Java
Object Oriented Programming
Visual Studio
Version control software (such as git or svn)
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above

Pay Range $44,850.00 - $81,075.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary

Projects could include threat model development such as radar, sensors, or weapons; model integration into simulation environments; tool development for visualization, integration, or characterization
