Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
- Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended
- Comfort with basic software development including coding, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
- The ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members
- Curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to learn and take feedback

- Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program
- Experience with Git or other revision control systems
- Experience creating web services with any tech
- Experience using cloud services such as AWS or Google Compute Engine
- Experience using Docker or other containerization technology
- Familiarity with the Game of Thrones television series and/or series of books

- Pay Rate: $31 per hour USD for undergrad interns
Responsibilities
- In this position, you will have a hands-on role maintaining and implementing key game systems and features for an upcoming unannounced mobile strategy title
- Your work will reach a vast audience of passionate players
- Develop systems in a microservice backend to support a mobile game client
- This may include bug fixing, optimization, writing database queries, and full feature implementation for providing gameplay on a massive online scale
- Participate in code reviews to iterate and refine implementations
- This is a core part of our process that will help you to learn and grow
- Own your work when given prioritized goals and objectives
- Work closely with other team members and take technical and professional feedback, ask good questions, and develop your skills
